I'd like to go for a ride!

All photos are clickable to larger

Today, I yearned to go for a ride in this big vehicle. My brother-in-law got his "newish" vehicle and was driving it up to North Bay, Ontario and he stopped off for me to see it.

I thought that the grill was interesting...almost like a piece of art! Do you like it?

This vehicle is not old at all and as you can see it only has just over 83,000 km on it. That's a very low mileage for these vehicles.

Well, maybe another day, I'll get to ride in it.

Have you ever felt as if you'd like to ride in one of these large tractor trailers? I used to teach bus driving but this is a vehicle I wouldn't mind travelling in.

I had an uncle that was a truck driver -- yes, I often thought it would be fun. :)

What a splendid collection of photos--can you imagine how a little boy would react to these?? (Perhaps "sexist" but my daughter never expressed as much interest in cars and trucks as did my son who was mesmerized by them!)

I wish safe driving to him in this new vehicle!

Kate, boys have got their testosterone shot already before their birth, and it means something.

Happy weekend !

Whoah, that's a big 'un. Maybe a short ride, but I certainly would be too chicken to get behind the wheel. I once drove a 24 foot truck plus my Volvo on a trailer behind it through the Mohave desert, over the Tahachapi Pass, and on up to the SF Bay Area, and that about did it for me!

Thanks very much for your kind comments at SDP (I left a reply there for you).

couldn't find a comment link on the graffiti post so am dropping this here.

Some graffiti can be artistic but most isn't and lot is positively obscene.

Here in the UK though zealous officials have actually painted over a wall mural [estimated value £10,000] by a renowned artist because they mistook it for graffiti!
