Crossing the Speed River
Pedestrian Bridge across the Speed River
When I posted this photo of graffiti, it was the under side of this lovely old bridge.
We shall endeavour to post a new photo every day in and around the City of Guelph during the year. We will try to get photos of places around Guelph that you would like to see so please just request this.

Beautiful postcard photo!
This made me smile!
a partly melted river, a bridge,a spruce , snow and a little blue sky,
could be from here !
Very decorative, fine photo, Pat.
I hope, your week will be good one!
SO it's still quite full of snow in your part of the world, is it?
Lovely photo. It doesn't feel TOO cold, was it really ?
Nice winter scene! The bridge looks quite graceful...
graffiti on any surface is generally a nuisance, and seeing the entire bridge in your photo today, I completely understand your sentiment! This bridge is so beautiful-looks like it's probably from the 1920s or 1930s?
beautiful, pensive, peaceful scene
Well, I like the bridge much more than the graffiti. :)
thats such a wonderfull bridge!
Beautiful photo of this bridge. I like pictures of bridges. The light is very pretty.
Fantastic composition and it does look like a postcard. Excellent everything...
Pat - where are you? You are not posting and not visiting us, either. I miss you on our walks...Hope everthing's OK.
I love the way the sun is shining on the bridge. A magical moment of a busy day?
Now, that is a bridge with nice lines. I wonder what are the origins of the name 'Guelph'?
By the looks of this picture it's a lot colder in Canada than it is here!
