Winchester, Virginia

GRACE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH

As you know, I was in Virginia for awhile and visited the city of Winchester.

What a delightful place! I loved reading all the history behind various events that occured there in years past but this church and the steeple really got my attention.

I hope you like it too.

I think I may have been to that town before. I love Virginia.

Hi Pat,
Lovely photo - the church looks very European. I've been tagged today so I'm passing this along to you....

I always have felt that a church needs either a steeple or a bell tower. Both would be great.

I love those red doors and that deep blue sky. Beautiful architecture as well.

what a lovely building, but the way you have captured it with the light in the red door and the deep blue sky makes it even better. wonderful shot!
