Remembering Guelph's War Heroes

Remembering our Dead

I drove past the Cenotaph this evening and there are still wreaths there from November 11, Remembrance Day.

It's actually quite touching to read the inscriptions.

It's good to remember and to honor those who gave their all.

I love the light on the cenotaph - so warm and golden. A fitting tribute to remember those who fought and died for our country.

That's quite impressive and moving.

Thanks for your post on my blog about your tree memory. That was moving, too.

It's so important to honour our servicemen. Lovely light on the photo too. Hope you are well!

Hi Pat. I love this image. I find the cenotaph here in London to be a very comforting place to be. It's right in the corner of the largest park in central London, and I pass by on my daily cycle or walk to work.

I always pause when I'm there. I wish more of us did the same. We have the freedoms we do because of their sacrifice.

Ohhh, how I agree with you, Carmi! That's so very true and so many folks don't seem to realize it.

Thanks Annie, Toronto Team and AB.

Ravenchase junkie, it was my pleasure. Your photo caused me to reminisce.
