Angel's Diner

ANGEL'S DINER

Last night a friend treated me to supper and we went to Angel's Diner. What a lovely place to go! It's a restaurant all decked out in the 1950's decor and the booths are all a torquoise and bright red in colour!

The weather was rainy which turned into freezing drizzle and the roads were so slippery but the food was delicious at Angel's!!

Not the greatest night photo but it certainly shows that parking space was difficult to find due to the popularity of this great place to eat.

Not only do they have the very best ribs in town as the sign says...

And lovely smiling waitresses...

Stephanie was certainly a lovely gal to serve us with our meal...

...but the Senior's Ham and Cheese Omelet was superb and far too much for me to finish!

THANKS STEPHANIE!

FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!

Excellent pictures. I can be hard to get the exposure and focus right when shooting neon signs at night but you got it perfect. Looks like you had fun.

Welcome back Pat. I came to you from your post on my blog and see you've been away from blogging. Glad to see you were able to come back. Loved this post. The diner looks excellent and the food even better. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Guelph!

Very nice photos Pat -- the food, ambience, wait staff. Looked like fun! Thanks for dropping by Seguin again and for the comment. I wish we had some of your snow!

Hi Pat, I'm glad you are back and I'm hoping that the "right turn" you took really is a right turn for you and yours.

I think diners like the Angels are very appealing. We all want to go back in time even if just for long enough to enjoy a meal.

Very nice evening shot of the neon sign, Pat, I like these classic diners too. In your previous post, what a pretty house and lighting, it looks like its made of stone.

Hi, and thanks for showing me how to get there! If I am ever up that way, I will be sure to visit, but don't hold your breath! Got about a thousand or so miles to go...
Looks like a great restaurant though.

You know, sometimes the little "hole in the wall" places are the best :)

There used to be an Angel's Dinner in Kitchener I used to frequent back when I lived in the K-W area... I wonder if it is the same "chain"...

Ahhhhh, a 50's Diner!!! They are great when you can find them. :-)

You took a very good outside shot. And inside shots too of course. But I love night shots of lights!

I used to be in a diner club (not a diner's club, but a DINER club) and we went around everywhere eating a diner's, especially old ones.

These are cool pictures! Very nice.

We go to Hamilton and Guelph every November to celebrate the anniversary of our becoming sweeties--we love it there. Sometimes we come other times, too--used to come more often when we were courting because it was halfway between our homes.

Thank YOU for your comment on my blog, I found yours through antiguadailyphoto.com I hope the snow doesn't cover you completely down there in Guelph.

Hey Mary! The next time, we'll have to meet at Angel's Diner!

Drop me an email if you wish.

I love diner food and I like that there's green veggies with the entrees.

The first photo of the diner is spectacular.
