Fond Farewell
For the past ten days or so, I've had my future husband visiting from Virginia and he left today and here are Geordie and Paul saying "Farewell for Awhile" to each other.
As you can see, there is still lots of snow here in Guelph!

He Is Risen Indeed!
This photo of the Easter Lily was taken by Paul and I thank him for allowing me to put it in here today as we celebrate the wonderful Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour!
(Click to hear music)
Author: Robert Lowry, 1826-1899
Musician: Robert Lowry, 1826-1899
Low in the grave He lay,
Jesus, my Savior!
Waiting the coming day,
Jesus, my Lord!
Chorus:
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor
From the dark domain,
And He lives forever
With His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!
Vainly they watch His bed,
Jesu, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead,
Jesus my Lord!
Chorus:
Death cannot keep his prey,
Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away,
Jesus my Lord!
Chorus:

Zehr's Markets Paisley Road
On Thursday night, at closing time after a Guelph Hiking Trail Club meeting in the lovely Zehr's Community Room, we found the Manager of this store busy stocking the shelves.
Jeremy Hewitt, Store Manager, gave all of the credit to his busy staff in making this one of the best Zehr's around this area.

A Wedding in Planned!
I thought I'd let you all know that my presence on here might be a little haphazard for the next little while and I am planning a wedding for May!
Whose wedding? Mine!
I became a widow seven years ago and for me I thought that this is what life was going to be like from now on. But, my Lord and Saviour has had other plans for my life and He has brought into my life a wonderful man named Paul.
Paul arrived on Saturday night with roses and a lovely little white box! Then yesterday, he made this lovely collage of three photos--a photo of three of the roses from the dozen red roses he brought, the ring in the box and the ring on my finger!
I do hope that you enjoy the photo as much as I do and that you will be patient with me while I plan with Paul our future life together.
A Special Day for Pat

Lady on the Wall
Today's photo was not taken by me. This was taken by SOFIA who lives here in Guelph! Thank you so much Sofia!
One of our readers, Sofia, lives very near the University of Guelph and enjoys walking through the grounds and on one of these walks, she found this lovely picture of a laddy on the wall of this building surrounded by the lush green ivy.
Sofia says, "I took this picture last year while strolling on the campus grounds. I just love this gorgeous print on a wall surrounded by the turning leaves..such a surprise.... Hope you like it too."
What a wonderful find, Sofie!

Apologies
I'm sorry that I've been a bit unreliable in posting my daily photo. Life is busy for me right now. I am so happy that some readers have sent some lovely photos of our beautiful city so that I might continue to share this "Royal City" of Guelph with you all.
(I'm planning a wedding in May so life is hectic right now)

The Storm is Over--for now!
The plow is busy now trying to clean up!
This was the view from my front window this morning and my driveway is under the closest two "hills of snow". It's been plowed out now.

Today in Guelph
This is the lady next door. She's been constantly digging snow this year. Geordie loves it!
So many of these around Guelph today...
I'd rather be in Bermuda or somewhere warm and...

Half Frozen Speed and Eramosa Rivers
The Eramosa and the Speed Rivers Meet
If this were summer, this place would be very crowded with people walking along the river eating ice cream cones or just having a chat.
But only the many ducks and a few geese are having a good time in this frozen wilderness that is half frozen and half open water.
