Grand River at West Montrose

I've had a very busy few days. A friend is ill and there's been many hospital visits, doctor visits, etc.

I enjoyed a wee drive just about 10 miles up the road to West Montrose where the covered bridge is and the Grand River looked so inviting for a canoe ride--but not today.

We canoed that stretch a couple of months ago, and it was still a bit shallow there in parts. At this time of the year it'd be quite shallow. But yes, it was beautiful. We really enjoyed it.
