Rhubarb
I went out to my garden and pulled all the rhubarb flowers off so that I'll get more rhubarb for jam and pies!
Funny, but I pick away at once, if some flowers are coming , because I think, rhubarbs are going week after blooming. Am I quite wrong?? But you really got a fantastic photo about it. Have a relaxing, happy weekend!

Never saw the flower of the rhubarb before. Actually very pretty. Does it turn pink? I see some on the stalk or stem.

I've only seen rhubarbs at the grocery stores. So I'm surprised to see that it flowers too.
ReplyDeleteI have had some strawberry and rhubarb pies but I don't necessarily recall the taste of rhubarbs. All I could taste was the strawberries.
